Astarion - Camp (Baldur’s Gate 3) | photos by @j.a.vilches
Astarion’s camp outfit was a 3 day project intended as a “break” before larger projects — it features flatlined velvet chaps, tea-dyed and stained garments, weathered weapons, and my first foray into SFX with bite mark and back scar prosthetics.

Costume Information
Garment
The shirt/chaps utilized patterns from @GrangerPlace on Etsy. The shirt is tea-dyed, while the pants are flatlined stretch burnout velvet that was dyed on poly wool. They’re kept separate from the pants with an elastic back for comfort. The bite marks and back scars were sculpted with 3rd Degree silicone on mesh, covered in liquid latex, and painted with an alcohol-activated palette and cosmetics.
Props
The daggers + belt buckle were 3D modeled by DangerousLadies. Daggers are finished with airbrushed Vallejo metal colors and a pleather grip wrap, while the belt buckle utilizes a hammered spraypaint; both props were finished with a black acrylic wash and silver drybrushing.
